    Flooring Nailer/Stapler

I bought an air powered Bostitch stapler for my floors. It did a great job across the 1800 square feet of engineered hardwood I installed. I believe it's limited to 5/8" thick material.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I gave the bench top a little sanding. I'm thinking since I've decided today is a rest day from cycling, I'll clear the bench off and do another full up sand, polish, oil and polish. It is sort of like practice for the dining table top I need to get after, which will include stain. Then I...

confused about what size unit heater for my garage

I had a Mr. Heater Big Maxx 45,000 BTU natural gas garage heater at my last house in a 400+ square foot garage (https://cozzy.org/best-garage-heater/) Two mostly uninsulated walls, insulated garage door, ceiling had house above, all drywalled. Would easily keep the garage at 70 degrees plus...

    Generator

I have a Generac 5000w/7500w that although not the quietest has worked very well over the years. We can lose power fairly frequently where I live having it go out for a week is not that uncommon. Lost it for 13 days once. The main thing to consider is what is the most important piece of...

    Upright Vacuum?

I thought long and hard about buying a Dyson (and planned to for many years), but I couldn't justify (much less afford) the price. There was also the concern about the Dyson ball technology being able to get around/under beds and furniture (At first I bought for home) I ended up getting the...

    best budget leaf blower

Have a look at the Stihl BR200, its a backpack with decent power, very light. Youll get tired of holding the handheld blower day after day for longer periods of time, especially when it comes time to blow leaves. Everyone here says to get the biggest backpack you can afford to start off with.But...

    Tekton USA line of tools

I’ve got a few Tekton tools, and it seems the ones I got most recently are of better quality. If this holds true across the whole brand, I believe I will start viewing them less as a source for ‘cheap’ tools and more of a source for decent tools at reasonable prices. I do have certain tools that...
