I did a Google search on this "charity" and the reviews are really bad. Might want to check it out before signing up and opening your computer to it. IMO
I'm very limited on space and want to build an I beam support in my one car garage to help me lift my flathead motor. I would use 4x6 wood post and a metal I beam that would span 11'. What size beam will I need to handle the weight of the flathead moter?
Ok, I rebuilt my Walker Jack with the help of this forum and it seems to work. I actually was surprised as the rebuild kit was generic and the pictures on the forum were for a different model jack. Fortunately my wifi reaches my shop so went step by step with pictures and got it back together...
As for the crack where the ceiling comes together at the top of the ceiling. I have used a 1 x 6 of good quality and made a moulding to cover the crack. Jus bevel the edges to match the pitch of your ceiling. Use ceiling white and it will look normal, better than trying to match the drywall...
Does anybody know a link for plans on how to dissasemble a Walker floor jack. Or, i guess in my case, how to put it back together. I have the new parts but really need to see how far to break it down. I read on one forum that there is no worry in taking the jack apart since the fluid has bled...
