I would have loved to have done the jack shaft ones but my door to wall clearance wont allow it.
I have 2 8500 liftmasters. For chain these are the best I have found.
Compared to my dads crapsman that sounds like a ships anchor lifting anything is an improvement.
I think its a matter of...
I would get a few quotes from some duct cleaning companies close by. The bad part is its always going to be down in the seams as those are hard to clean.
No matter what, its due for cleaning/replacement cause it will always have an odor with that much lined tar.
Last Idea and maybe...
Snap on is the Gucci for men.
Honestly, contact your local SO sales rep, ask him if he has any repo or trade in boxes. This is how you get a good price on good used stuff also.
Bang for the buck the HF US general boxes are pretty on point man. I have floor mounted my Boxes in the garage...
These are great for the work around and issues of not having a 2 post. Granted suspension work on a 4 post is hindered a bit, but the bread and butter stuff, oil changes, and other services the 4 post excels at.

Honestly, End of the day, do everything to code yourself, have it inspected if you are unsure by an electrician. Bury all underground lines at minimum 3 foot of cover. I would not pull a permit if you can do this all yourself.
They still require cleaning and have filters. 330 sq ft is still something requiring some btu for sure, If you put an 18k for example, the workshop and loft with the 2 heads, one head would be in workshop and the other in loft, This would make both areas independent controlled heads but a...

I am in Houston tx, I run a 18k btu for an oversized attached 2 car garage. 18'x23' with 8' ceiling. In the summer 100 degree and 100 humidity, I keep 75 degrees normally, but when I am doing heavy fab work or activities where I sweat...
Thanks man. When I built this truck orig. my garage was crammed full and had no workflow. Just find ya something that works for you, get as much floor space as you can is my best thing I can tell you. Wire rack shelves or cabinets etc. Utilize outside storage when possible for things that...
Thanks man.
So they are indeed jack stands, they are ford model a axle bells from a banjo rear axle that were cut down to make stands out of. Great never fail jack stand in the days of "mayfail" stands. I have 2 sets I use frequently, with my AC delcos being for support stands when needed etc.
Sorry for the story book reply, but I have been reticuled in the past myself... I work out of my garage, I have a desktop for my day job, then play with the old junk nights and weekends. My garage has transformed alot through the years as my needs and wants for clean workspace have come to...
Few updates.... Finally decided to get the floors done, polyurea with chips called Domino. That paved way to when things went back some major changes. The big box we pulled off the casters and dropped on the floor. Added a proper computer workstation etc and extra work bench. Got a cheap 150...
I think the heat pump may be the way to go, if I had to do my house over again, I would do heat pump for hot water and a heat pump ac. The efficiency is there and here in humid and hot areas we need all we can get. And we don't get enough cold to be an issue. My garage is on a mini split heat...
