Others that are more commomly known: Nikon F, Nikkormat and my beloved Leica IIIc. Over the years I became a bit of a collector while...

Greenfield 4700 Tap & Die set.

I am considering the Fusion Cool 2240 cutting fluid. It is a general application coolant and reports a low odor. Has anyone used this product? The price range is also good and it is sold by the gallon which is a plus for a trial period.

Greenfield 4700 Tap & Die set.

Does anyone know of a low odor coolant to use with my Greymill 5 gallon pump system? A general type coolant for use with assorted metals is prefered. Odor is my concern at this point. I get comments about the smell drifting into the house?

Greenfield 4700 Tap & Die set.

I have found a product called Rustlick 631 it seems to work well for tool protection from ambient moisture and tool use. Just passing it along as a helpful hit. David

    Painting new block construction

The two times I sealed or painted an interior of a block wall garage I used my LP gas heater for my prep. Yes, I know walls can sweat but if you dry them with a room temp value 68 to 70 over a full day or 2 the interior walls will dry enough for the paint or sealant to adhere much better...

    Painting new block construction

From my experience if you have a space heater that can warm and dry the interior area of the garage...(24 hours), do that first. Then, take a stiff brush/push broom and go over all the interior walls to knock of any loose materials. After the garage is cleaned out and as dust free as...
