I think it looks good as is, if you just straighten out the sheet metal a little bit. The aging on it gives character :)

The heritage boxes are nice, but put them next to a KRL and there is a world of difference. If you can get one used for a good price I would say go for it, but for what SO wants for a new one there are better deals out there.

I see no reason to spend that much money on a 6-point set. Ive never used them before, 12pt gives double the access.

Most places do oil changes at a loss to get the customer in. They then hope to upsell and or build a relationship so that when there is a need for a more major repair the customer will come back to you for that as well as other maintenance services. Our oil change price doesn't even cover the oil.

I would look for a cheap used SO Classic 78. I think you could find one in that price range.

for what its worth I have Milwaukee impacts in all sizes and they have removed everything I've come across. Much cheaper than the SO's as well. I got the 1/2 and 3/8 with charger, batteries and 18v flashlight new from Amazon for less than the price of the SO 1/2. Not saying the Milwaukee's...

IMO you did the right thing. When people dont respond to reason the best thing to do is remove yourself from the situation. You never know what people will do these days. It might be an empty threat but you never know. It would more than likely take the cops so long to respond that the lady...

I guess that goes with the gigantic socket posted recently. Is there really an application for that or is it just a display type piece? Pretty cool, im sure the price is crazy!
