Picked up something for the garage this weekend!

I picked up a little something for my new garage this past weekend. This gives me some incentive to get started sooner on the new garage!

    new garage to the site

Pics are dated October 2005. Any newer pics? Just curious how the front of the garage turned out. Any windows above the front garage doors? Also, any dormer windows in the roof line? Is that a 9/12 pitch or what?

    More PICS of the build...

Man am I jealous! I had a new '95 Impalla SS (black) until a deer ran out in front of me. I love the shop. What is the scoop on those partials I see through the door opening of a blue and a red Chevy/GMC '67 to '72 trucks? I now have a '71 Chevy short step. Nice!

    Garage Size Guide?

6t7gto, Those goats need more room to graise! Seriously, I built a 21' deep x 24' wide at my last house. It was a good single car/truck garage with area for projects. How do you even get in the cars to pull them out? Here is a shot of my old garage.

    My Shop AKA the obsession

50'x100'? Down here we don't call that a shop, we call it the volunteer fire department! (lol) My wife is freaking out about my stakes I have laid out for my new shop. It is 30' wide x 40' deep. She told me that I don't need to go overboard, I only have two trucks. I told her that she was...

    Help!! Brackets, Braces, Joints, etc.

While checking out our this site a few weeks back, I saw something that would make the construction of my new garage a lot easier. Someone makes brackets are braces out of metal that basically secure each joint. There is one type that bolts to the concrete slab then I believe it rotates up to...

    Mothers Power Ball

Right, for me the slower RPM worked best. I have used it with Mothers Billet cream, Mothers chrome polish, and Mothers mag polish. (On different projects) I always throw the Powerball in the washing maching to clean it before changing polishes/creams. Dean

    Mothers Power Ball

That's odd! I have used the Mothers Power Ball on billet aluminum, chrome, glass. I loved it. Much better than that Flitz orange cloth deal. The Power Ball worked best for me when I did not apply a lot of pressure. Also, I had best results with my Makita 12 volt cordless drill. I tried my...

    my single car garage

That tool box drawer scares me! Talk about close quarters. At least lord Vadar's car is protected from the elements. I had a 87 t-top GN but sold it after two months since I did not have a garage. That car was in too nice to be left out in the elements.

Garage info How about some specs on that fine garage you got there! I am in the process of getting started on my new garage. I was originally wanting to add on to my existing garage, on the back end. This would limit me to 25' deep. If I put one like yours beside my existing garage, I can...
