    50 might be stiff. I just redid the seats for my 68 Fury. I used high density foam (1.8) with 44lb compression for bottoms and high density / 36lb compression for backs. Feels not too stiff, not too soft. I also used Dacron over the foam to make the covers look nice and inflated.
