Reno. Galena Forest area on the way to Mt Rose. I'll shoot you a PM.
Not sure if I mistyped something above, but my trailers aren't 48ft long.
Race trailer is 38ft gate to the hitch. I just sold my tag equipment trailer and am in the market for a 25+5 gooseneck (which will also be about 38ft...
I see you're in nevada. Who did you get your building materials from? Kind of looks like a Cleary logo on the end of the building but I thought i'de ask.
We'll likely put the building up ourselves but a lot of the well known online suppliers wont work in Nevada. I may need to piece order my own...
Depth is my biggest challenge so I'm pretty much capped at the 48-50ft mark to make this feasible. This is a hillside lot with some extreme slopes so thats all I have without making the sitework unreasonably expensive.
I found a pretty trick layout software where you could test fit everything...
I just need the trailer in, not truck and trailer in the same bay. Building to accomodate a 25+5 (38ft overall) length gooseneck trailer. Equipment consists of a track loader and mini excavator. 14ft height will be plenty.
We also currently have a 38ft (total length) tag race trailer but will...
Big shop guys - What say you on door(s) for RVs and equipment trailers?
Working on budgeting a property we're developing next year. House layout/location is pretty much final'd so now time to final the shop.
Shop will be 48x64 or 48x72. 4 bays. (2) 12x10 doors on the "working" shop half. The...
Roof snow load and ground snow load are not one in the same... the pitch and material used for the roof will reduce effective load so the roof snow load will be substantially less than the ground snow load. Basis of design for determining load factors is always based on worst case, which is the...
I'm sure I'll need fully engineered plans which is no problem. My biggest challenge is going to be snow load/trusses (design ground snow load in this area is 142psf.... probably going to need a helluva roof pitch).
As the title states, seeing if there is anyone on here that has (or has experience with building) a post frame building on a stepped foundation wall. I cant seem to find any examples on the ol' internet which makes me a little leery but I cant see why this would create any sort of...
Lots of great input, especially regarding resale, taxes, and loopholes. Thanks!
I really like the "keep the shop the shop" idea because I do tend to work late evenings/nights in there on my projects. BUT, I will have at least some type of hang out space in there. I need to better understand...
This will be on a sloped lot that has enough space/flexibility to have a walk out basement and direct access from parking areas.
I intend to build the shop at the highest/flattest point of the lot. An upstairs apartment would be stair access only.
Steps are a concern for my mother in law.
Figured this could be a fun conversation and I'de love some opinions from people who have lived and breathed the same situation... if you have/had a detached shop on your property and you needed some extra established spaced for guests (think full kitchen/bath/bed for in-laws), would you rather...
I have to imagine some of you ladies and gents out there get creative with water hoses. Has anyone had good luck with and/or can suggest a quick disconnect setup for a water hose?
I would like to keep a raw water washdown hose on my boat but the location it threads into the water source is kind...
Any suggestions on how to get my hands on Lowes coupons or if buying gift cards on ebay is legit?
I need to grab about $3000 in flooring for our home remodel so a small discount would go a long ways.
Can any of you guru's help me out with a coupon for the 3-ton daytona professional low-pro jack and/or 6-ton jack stands? my old craftsman is wore out and I need to install some goodies on my Raptor this weekend :)
