1/4 and 3/8 Socket Overlap - How to Decide?

more often than not when i work on cars i grab 2 things. my ratcheting wrench set and 1/4 drive set. if i need something else ill walk back to the tool box. id suggest a complete 1/4 drive set in metric, shallow and deep. 3/8 from 10-19 and a spark plug socket amd torx or allens if needed...

Do you think Knipex Cobra style pliers have completely replaced Channellock tongue-and-grove style pliers?

i carry channellocks everyday to every house for every job. knipex maybe better for mechanics, but channellock is for the trades. the channellock 430 is still the industry standard for plumbing and always will be.

Whats in your truck tool box?

Ive had a tool box for ever it seems. Never really carried much. Just some chain and jumper cables. Then i got the idea to make a tool kit just for the box with all my "extras" came together pretty well.

    Hvac tools

This is a short little view of what i carry day to day for hvac calls. Pretty handy, light and i rarely have to go back to the truck for something. Take a look and tell me what you would change. What would u leave out or add?

    Ammo can tool kit

Its pretty tight so it doesnt rattle. But now you guys got me thinnking about it moving. Hadnt had an issue with that in the couple months its been back there, but she hasnt had a wreck either. In a crash the last thing you want is a 25 lb metal box flying around and possibly injuring a kid
