more often than not when i work on cars i grab 2 things. my ratcheting wrench set and 1/4 drive set. if i need something else ill walk back to the tool box.
id suggest a complete 1/4 drive set in metric, shallow and deep. 3/8 from 10-19 and a spark plug socket amd torx or allens if needed...
found this at an old electronics store and figured id pick it up. they also had alot of other vintage tools amd i got a few for work. anyhow, any idea what this might be worth? 1/4 drive sae
i carry channellocks everyday to every house for every job. knipex maybe better for mechanics, but channellock is for the trades. the channellock 430 is still the industry standard for plumbing and always will be.
Ive had a tool box for ever it seems. Never really carried much. Just some chain and jumper cables. Then i got the idea to make a tool kit just for the box with all my "extras" came together pretty well.
I used one for a short time. I honestly dont like the thing on my head, but it is convenient

This is a short little view of what i carry day to day for hvac calls. Pretty handy, light and i rarely have to go back to the truck for something. Take a look and tell me what you would change. What would u leave out or add?
Its pretty tight so it doesnt rattle. But now you guys got me thinnking about it moving. Hadnt had an issue with that in the couple months its been back there, but she hasnt had a wreck either. In a crash the last thing you want is a 25 lb metal box flying around and possibly injuring a kid
