    MP&C Shop Projects

Hey to you Robert!!!! Looks like you are making progress! I can say that for me this "making a living" thing takes up too much valuable shop time! ;) Oh Well.... That is just how it goes I guess. Have a great Christmas!

Are you familiar with SWAG? They make a lot of press brake "kits" for HF presses. http://www.swagoffroad.com/SWAG-Press-Brake-Kits_c_53.html

ebay seller with rare craftsman ratchets

These were prototyped at Easco/KD in Lancaster PA in the early to mid 1980's, and may have been made there as well. Guy I worked with's father was involved. The big idea for them involved investmant cast parts. I only ever had a 1/2" drive, and it has a tooth or 2 stripped. That turned out to be...

Home Depot 4ft LED Shop Light - Thoughts?

Just tried to get some of these, they seem to have "come and gone".... First link above is a dead link now, and my local HD, who had some a week ago knows nothing about them now. There is however a $99.00 (They must be joking!) alternative there that is linkable.....

    Project Kenworth

I guess taking a M3A1 half track through the Mickey D's drive through in the UK would be a fail also then.... They fit here just fine, been there done that and turned a few heads with mine.. As an owner of antique motorcycles, I think the same thing that drove the difference between US and UK...

    Project Kenworth

Considering that +-10 years ago I watched a HUMV struggle coming down the high street (Main St. for the Yanks) in Royal Tunbridge Wells (+- 45 minutes of traffic drama), and create quite the traffic mess, I have always thought there would be almost NO way to drive a regular American style truck...

    Pole Barn Ceiling Insulation

Morton buildings use Tyvec house wrap, BEFORE installing ceiling. They staple it up to make a chute. With the ceiling in, it may be a bit tough. Jeff

    Morton Buildings can't be serious

You do know that Morton use's a heavier gauge (26 gauge by memory) of metal than most pole building builders (29 gauge), right? I put my first Morton up in 1994, and my second in 2003. Both were at the upper end of cost compared to the other local companies, but the few times I had any problems...

    Best brake bleeder kit

Phoenix systems The V-12 is below your price point (I have not used it, I own and use the Max Pro, shop around they can be had +-$200.00), but can't be beat. It pushes the air up (the way air wants to go in most liquids). http://www.brakebleeder.com/ Jeff

    Copper pipe through foundation

For what it's worth, I grew up in an early 1950's built house with radiant heat (copper pipe direct in concrete slab). By 1971, there were multiple leaks due to corrosion!!! All the house's in that area had the same problem! I vote for keeping corrosive concrete away from copper!! Good luck, Jeff
