best bet is to build four walls with deep window boxes. plenty of strength for your second floor. thats the way mine is. you guys are quick to throw the book at this guy, he's just building an office that he happens to sleep in.

Just watch craigslist for a nice size dust collector like they use in woodworking shops. that should do the trick.

Looks plenty strong, I will probably make something like that for my self. Just seeing what you guys have came up with.
