Line wrench or Box-end for brake bleeder fittings?

My SO dealer carries a bunch in large and interesting shapes and sizes. I believe they're shaped the way they are so brakes can be bled without removing wheels. I've never worked on cars professionally, so that doesn't really appeal to me.

Line wrench or Box-end for brake bleeder fittings?

For brake bleeder fittings, I prefer 6 pt box wrenches. I've nearly rounded off bleeder fittings on my 911 even while using snap on flare nut wrenches. I imagine the heat cycles from all the canyon roads get them hot and seized. An 11mm Armstrong I got from cripe distributing lives in my cart...

    Vertical Wrench Toolbox Widget Lot

Selling all my toolbox widget organizers. These are the vertical wrench organizers. I think I counted 154 of these, but I’ll just round down to 150 to be on the safe side. They are in like new condition and clean. I wasn’t fond of the quality and went to a different organizer. Great deal for...

    Show your new tool arrivals

The Tone one is pretty good and Japanese made. High tooth count, quick release, and I snagged it on Amazon for about $20. The weird handle shape is probably my only criticism of it, but can't complain for the price. P.S. realize I forgot to add the pic of it, it's now there in my post.

    Show your new tool arrivals

It's been some time since I've posted. Figured I'd share some of the tools I've picked up since I've been gone. Enjoy the tool ****. I prefer the typical trigger design over SO's rocker style. Swapping everything to these as they're released. This is the high torque version of the long...

I use the SAE version around the house a lot. Furniture, appliances, and all sorts of odd little tasks. Great little kit.

Sell me on the Epiq cart. (IT HAS ARRIVED)

In Gen Z English, I believe the correct vernacular is "gyat" pronounced g-yee-at. (Abbreviated version of gyat dayum)

What stuff still requires SAE even if your doing all metric work?

We use 99.9% SAE on our production floor. Two other common places I find myself using SAE in my home garage: specialty tooling still uses quite a bit of SAE. Aftermarket accessories seem to be SAE (winch plate, light brackets, etc.)

Sell me on the Epiq cart. (IT HAS ARRIVED)

Cart looks fantastic! The big selling point for the epiq line ups is the gauge steel, draw sliders, depth and how that all comes together. I have a couple hundred pounds of sockets in the top drawer of my 84" epiq. I can open the drawer with a single finger, pulling on the very left or right...

    Can anyone top Bondhus?

These are snap on's slotted racks for their slots n dots panel.

    Can anyone top Bondhus?

I would agree that Snap On is not single sourcing their hex keys based on what I've seen. Bondhus, Elkind, VIM, zypher, etc. can all be found on the truck. I realize I never followed up with what decision I went with after starting this thread. I'm **** about documenting my tools for my...

The Truck Tool Equivalents Thread - Gathering Data

A vast majority of Blue Point items are rebranded/private labeled. Some of them are USA made. My favorite example of this would be locking extensions - Mac rebrands them too. Snap On will sell things under the Blue Point name to not dilute the SO brand, but still be able to offer it. Now...

The Truck Tool Equivalents Thread - Gathering Data

    18" x 10" x 13.25" I suspect this is a snap on made item, not a rebrand. https://snap-on.com.vn/products/small-dog-box-wheeled-tool-box-blue-point-krdb18
