    How much torque...

Hey dink, the gearwrenches are designed for mechanics to use on a daily basis. I have most of the sets in stubby, regular length, switch reverseable and flex heads and use them hard everyday for the last 4 years or so without breaking one. And believe me, I've actually tried breaking them...

    My 1/2'' tool collection

Hey MrHappy, you don't sound too happy. Maybe, maybe, the first line of your post might hold some truth, LOL. Just kidding. But, I don't understand the last 3 lines of your post, particularly the last line. What do you mean none of those tools will turn a 1/2" bolt or nut, I thought all or...

Would you deal with this? Craftsman tool chest.

Hey cybin, I had the same thing happen years ago on a Craftsman box. Not sure if yours is similar, mine had a full length piano hinge that was riveted to the lid and I drilled out the rivets and moved the lid over a bit and reinstalled the rivets and it was as good as new.

    Which cheap box?

Hey i bilyk, the Maximun series boxes are made by Waterloo in the US, www.waterlooindustries.com. Canadian Tire also sell the higher end Wateroo Magnums, but they are special order and they are not displayed in the stores only in thier catalogue and not even online. They are pricey though...

    Which cheap box?

Hey Jim, International's website is www.spg-toolbox.com. The weird thing is that they don't show all their toolboxes on the website. For example, on the main page they show the orange muscle car box, but is isn't shown with their online catalogue. They have a lot more boxes than they are...

    Which cheap box?

Hey I bilyk, those Craftsman boxes are made by a company called SPG International or sometimes short form just International Toolboxes. They're made in Drummond, Quebec, Canada. They are pretty good quality. They also make ball bearings ones too which are much nicer. The one that wythors has...

    Stubby screwdrivers

No, the bits I'm talking about are from Snap-on and they came with the ratcheting screwdriver, and they are anti-camout. I said that they had flutes, like little lines at the tip, but Snap-on calls them ACR ( anti-camout ribs ). Check their website, they show a pretty good closeup of one...

    Stubby screwdrivers

Hey dink, I'm pretty sure the Snap-on ratcheting srewdriver is not made by Wera, but instead made by JH Williams, a division of Snap-on, so it says on their website. Just Google JH Williams tools and you'll see. I have both the JH Williams and Snap-on ratcheting screwdrivers and both have the...

    Craftsman Stainless steel BB chests

Hey Jim, didn't see this post first, I just commented on them in another post, I think it started out something about blue titanium finished ratchets. But, yeah, they're definitely the best Craftsman tools made and also the best ratchet made, IMHO. And I own a lot of different ratchets, SK...

New craftsman tools... Blue titanium finish??

I could be wrong but I thought there was a very old post on Markkw about the Craftsman pro wrenches being made by SK. Or maybe that was awhile back and they are made by Allen nowadays. Like I said I'm not 100 percent sure but those pro wrenches look a lot like SK's long pattern open ends...

    Husky ratchets

What he said. Those 72 tooth ratchets are not meant to break rusted bolts, just like the gearwrenches which are also 72 tooth.

    Husky ratchets

Hey dink, I have lots of tools with the plastic/ruberized handles and prefer the regular metal handles. It's just a personal preference. For example, my newer Snap-on ratcheting screwdriver with the rubberized grip is hardly used because I prefer my older hard plastic handled Snap-on...

    Husky ratchets

I have those same ratchets in 3/8" and 1/2" drive, but by Canadian Tire, without the plastic/rubber handle, more like the Mac chrome handles. They say micro tough on them and are identical to the Mac ones, but much cheaper. And yes all 3, Crappy Tire, Husky and Mac are made by Stanley in...

    wrench sockets

Hey Jim, I think the semi-deep are very useful. I've had the SK 3/8 metric impact set for almost 2 years now and sometimes I wonder how I did without them, just like my Gearwrenches. A good example for using them are when I remove front seats out of customers' vehicles and the seat bolt is...
