What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Earlier today in front of the garage I setup my F250 tailgate as a work bench. My toolboxes are on that side of the garage also, easy to get to tools as needed. Trusty old Craftsman lawnmower had a leak. Got that taken care of, cleaned out air filter and sharpened the blade while I was at it...

Thanks for sharing. I am planning on redoing one of the vehicles. Trial run. Clear I plan to use a spray can. Was thinking 3 stage grit, 600-800-1000 for the wet dry paper.

Meticulous. What do you sand with, kit or whats on hand? Clear is via spray can or via sprayer? I have used off the shelf different kits, like 3M or Turtle Wax and such. Each time bucket of water for sanding sponges and to keep things wet. Have not used power tools, just by a hand and some...

Added some new hammers, and few other bits. 303 was a decent price, ordered two and should be good for a while. Jungle delivered it all quick. Have a couple more items coming next week from HD.

Amazon Deals on New Retail Items - Post them!

I ordered 4 piece set myself. This way all the bases are covered. These are sold on Mac trucks for a good bit more. Taiwan made, still all four cost me less vs a single SnapOn deadblow ball peen I bought a couple years back.

Above 1200 Sq/FT The Suburban Working Garage in VA...now building the Highland House in the Teton Valley

I would go used-well maintained tractor/snow blower implement, with the tire chains route. Even better if you can score additional implements with it. Will be very usable on your property, vs just a snow machine. Of course make sure it has a cab for that climate.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I piddle in garage a little here and there, still recovering from a broken ankle (just about 4 months in since the surgery). Today I had neighbor drop by, gave him a bicycle. His girls are growing and are riding one that is too small. We got to work cleaning it up, checking tires and other...

    Above 1200 Sq/FT My new garage build! 30x50 !

Going through it as you are do the replacement decking. Costs money now for years of lack of worrying about rot. Or If current decking is good enough, sand and Kilz exterior primer should get it spruced up. Then finish it off as desired.

I thought I was the odd man out doing that with blue Scott towels. Much like old tshirts make their way into my rag pile, I cut them to size using scissors. First they are daily wear, then a garage and yard work wear, last stage is garage rags. Roll that size lasts a long while, think your...

I will keep it brief as this is Mikes thread, feel free to PM or start a new one. I did good baseline on the car, part of that was new water pump, new thermostat, new radiator etc. Miatas like to run hot, tiny car with that engine shoved in there. On mine I added Singular Motorsports hood...

The only other thing I can think of in your case is to fabricate an additional shield around the sensor. Whether this is worth the effort versus earlier component replacement is up to you fellas. Very possible there are clearance issues for such thing anyways. Previous owner of my DR650 spent...
