The hoop claw clamp clip on my MotoMaster 2.5 ton (20 7/8 inch lift) broke during winter tire changeover. Ordered one from AliExpress. So I took out the scissor jack from my 99 Grand Marquis. Before the tire left the ground, the jack collapsed. No damage. So just be carefull with those scissor...
My MotoMaster has a problem with the lift arm assembly not going up or down. The assembly is connected to the piston by what they call a "hoop claw clamp clip". Removed the arm to find the clip broken.
MotoMaster does not have the part but those clips are available on Amazon and AliExpress. Just...
So I decided to give it one more try today. Removed sway bar and tie rod end. Swung knuckle to one side. Tried to remove ball joint nut with 24mm wrench. Noticed that ball joint stud was moving with the nut. Cut off stud just above the steering knuckle. Steering knuckle now free from stud.
Used...
Thanks for the suggestions. I will give it a tap with my sledge hammer. Putting up car shelter so I can work in rain. The angle of the stud concerns me
Not getting direct force on ball joint. I may end up cutting between knuckle and control arm
Then will be able to use ball point press with...
Hi,
The passenger side lower ball joint(,original ball joints) separated from the socket on the street in front of my driveway.
Driver sideball joint stud stud stuck in steering knuckle. Looks like stud is angled inwards. Used press to partially remove ball joint from control arm.
Just can't get...
Lucky you with a heated garage. Next step..lift?
Seriously now. Been trying for a few hours under beach umbrella in light rain. Top bolt came out easy. Bottom bolt not co-operating. Did remove it 2 years ago to install new rotor.
PB blaster and heat not working so let it soak overnight. Rain has...
Came across this Manning Bowman 1/4 inch drill. Nice metal case but unfortunately 230 vac.
I understand that if it was marked 100 vac/ 230 vac, I would have been able to run it on 100 vac.

Thanks to all. Purchased Rolair REG 0250M made in Taiwan regulator for $32 including taxes from local tool store.
So now my 2004 America assembled from Taiwan parts air compressor should outlast me.
Exactly saw you tube video where they removed the plug on the backside to install new kit with spring. Then saw another Porter Cable where spring was on the front side. They were pancake compressors. Not able to find one for the cpl6025.
With the removed regulator in my hand, I am able to pull...
So I posted the new pictures of the spring which I suspect is not the right one. Looks more like brake shoe hardware. Checked my owner manual where I had noted that original regulator part d27255 was changed on May 7 2008. Will check ebay.com. Thanks.
Sorry about the. pictures of the spring. I will post new pictures.
I used the compressor a few weeks ago. No problems. Today I started it up. Once the tank was filled, I may have turned the knob counter clockwise without pulling back on the knob to unlock it. So the regulator came off. Did not...
Purchased new 9 November 2004. After the tank fills, I adjust the pressure to the air tool by pulling back on the regulator knob. Turn clockwise to increase pressure to air tool. Turn counterclockwise to decrease pressure.
Today when I pull the knob out, the knob will not turn either way...
