Any thoughts if there will be a flex head or grip-flex head model? Any specific uses you guys are using long handled 1/4" ratchets for? I love my thlf72, but anything over 12mm with some torque and I feel way better using 3/8" ratchet.
That's a good idea with the RTV. I'll definitely have to try that next time, you can also try 50/50 mix of ATF and acetone. I've heard great things about it as a penetrating fluid. Can you use any heat to the area?
+1 .... Bought a ratchet from volunteers, probably the longest transaction ever, but was extremely patient and easy to deal with it. Very helpful, and I hope to do business with him again in the future.
May be the tool kit from the factory. Usually not worth a lot, unless it's rare or old. As mentioned, ebay is pretty good for comparison. If in doubt, just post a pic! Someone will know.
I've got the plastic 50lb model from harbor freight. I've only run soda, but I love it. Quality is so-so, but as long as it works, I'm happy. Did have to tighten everything up and teflon tape all the connections but it's pretty straight forward design.
Ugh, seriously? A simple question and you turn into a brand bashing thread?
OP, you should be able to warranty it. May depend on who's working that day, but you should be able to get a new one.
