I like what you've done! I also wanted to get a metallic paint for my cupboard doors too. Interested to see your 'good' pictures. Did you consider filling the wood grain in the 2x4 frames to give it a smooth finish? I've been playing with the idea myself.

I epoxied my floor - with the Rustoleum kit (EpoxyShield) and it really wasn't hard. Mine was a new floor, so that was a good start, but I just washed it with the etching stuff provided in the kit, let it dry, and then just went ahead and rolled, making sure I put the 'sprinkles' on as I went...

Well, I still have a long ways to go on the garage, so it will definitely come in useful for building all my cabinets, etc. Then I've got other little projects and crafty things to do around the house, and a shed, and a fence....lots of opportunities.
