Air compressor rebuild parts discontinued - is it junk now?

I'm replacing a 5 gallon 4.4 CFM with a 26 gal 4.5 CFM, and I didn't really have much complaint with the capacity of the old one. I will miss the portability of the wheelbarrow configuration, though.

Yep. Cylinder is available, piston and rings are not.

I open the petcocks after every use.

My Ridgid air compressor is starting to pump a lot of milky oil froth into the air line. I thought I might be able to just re-ring it, but I discovered that no replacement parts are available. I enjoyed having this compressor; 4.4SCFM @ 90 PSI was the best performance I could find for a unit...

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

An initial passing grade on the 6-inch cross slide vice, #32997. I drilled and tapped my drill press platform for it. While I wouldn't use it for anything like real milling, it's much better for securing items than just the rinky-dink rip fence that the press came with, and allows me to align...

I'm ready to pull the trigger on a HF horizontal/vertical band saw. As is typical, they have two stock numbers; is either 93762 or 62377 preferable to the other?

I'll second this. Even though HF offers some higher-spec heat guns, I see no overwhelming reason not to go with the cheapest option. I have used this Drillmaster version pretty regularly for several years, and it's still going great. I mostly use mine to heat those newfangled solder-melt...

18" Bending Brake #39103 — PASS. Got mine for under $40 with coupon. A lot of the reviews say you can't bend 16 ga. steel with it, but I had no problem. There are no clamps or attachment hardware for the brace/buck bar, so you will need to have your own clamps. Also in that photo, there's a...

Look what followed me home Saturday! I haven't had a chance to unbox it yet. I'd been looking to get an inexpensive TIG machine, and the reviews on the Vulcans has been remarkably favorable. There's really nothing anywhere close in price that has a true, variable foot pedal. HF had a coupon for...

You know the way one thing leads to another? I ran into Harbor Freight to replace the 18" metal ruler that I somehow misplaced. Might as well get this one with a square instead, right? Unfortunately, it's 2" shorter. But here's this really long aluminum ruler, I could just get that, too. And...
