Is there any way to view threads with the newest posts at the top?

That's the way I had it set in the "old look", but I can't find where to set it in the "new look". Thanks in advance!

The hardest part was finding an IP8 Torx Plus bit! :)

    Tools of Japan

So I recently upgraded my Koken ZEAL ratchet handles to 72 teeth using the upgrade kit (Ko-ken 3725RK-2). It only took about 5 minutes, and I couldn't be happier with the results! So I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything about Koken possibly offering a similar upgrade kit for their...

    Tools of Japan

If you haven't ordered it yet, a bullet dodged, IMO. Mine has been tossed into my "junk tools" box (which is a lot bigger and heavier than I'd like).

    Tools of Japan

Yeah, I have one of these. Sorry to say I agree with the negative reviews. The ratchet feels coarse and imprecise, backdrag is rather high and gummy, and it just feels cheap. The packaging says "Assembled in Japan". Doesn't compare to my other Vessel, Anex, Wera, Facom, Williams, etc. ratcheting...

    Tools of Japan

I have an OHTO Conception 05 mechanical pencil sitting on my desk as we speak. I really like its innovative design -- you can switch the sleeve from sliding sleeve (good for writing) to fixed sleeve (good for drafting), and you can also adjust how far the lead is advanced each time you press the...

I have one Vessel and two different Anex ratcheting stubby drivers. Even though I would generally rate Anex tools as a step or two below Vessel tools, I think their ratcheting stubbies are better. Nice tight bit engagement, nice low backdrag. Also, I think both Anex drivers have a better...

    Knives of Japan

I love my Glestain knives! The huge dimples are really effective at preventing the cut slices from sticking to the blade.

    Upgrading hex keys (Allen wrenches)

Yeah, they are made in Japan, and I ordered them from Amazon Japan. Here's a link. (Sadly, I suspect they might not ship to the US though.)

    Upgrading hex keys (Allen wrenches)

I think these doodads are a clever idea for when clearance is an issue. You just pop them into a 12-mm ratcheting wrench. These are made by the Japanese company STRAIGHT.

    Upgrading hex keys (Allen wrenches)

I guess my use case is probably a bit different from that of a lot of folks here at Garage Journal. Those PB Swiss hex keys are mainly used for assembling, disassembling, and adjusting my photographic gear. They are great for camera/flash accessories, tripods, and things like that.

I decided to go ahead and start the thread HERE.

    Upgrading hex keys (Allen wrenches)

The "Updating screwdrivers" thread HERE drifted towards hex keys, so I decided to go ahead and start this new thread -- with my favorite hex keys: I love knurling!
