    I've had a couple of mid rise- doing it again I'd go with a mid-rise scissor- like the Atlas Platinum which is ALI certified. Also makes a handy platform lift or work table.

    I would look at LVT or LVP. Sounds counter intuitive but I had Coretec LVT in my last garage and it was awesome. It was about 1/4" thick and I put a 1/4 x2" aluminum at the doors for a threshold.     Not US but I've had great luck with my Makita 18v LXT line. The brushless recipro specifically has been super durable. I still have the 'ol Porter-Cable corded Tiger Saw beastie if needed, which is rare.

    Putting in another vote for Coretec for use in a garage because it is inert. Does not expand and contract, very stable, waterproof, virtually indestructible. The only downside is if you weld. The stuff's not fireproof and will melt. Ask me how I know. :)
