Thanks for the suggestion. i can see this is going to be a bit of work to resolve.

I have an old Ideal in floor gas heater that works fine but the observation port cover has no gasket and Gas co. says it must be replaced with new one that has a gasket and glass viewer. The tube that it covers is 1.25" in dia. and is round. Where can I get this? I am having no luck finding...
