I'd trade shoveling snow for a detached garage any day of the week. Can't wait to see more as it sounds very similar to what I am looking to do. How do you plan to use it? Shop, toys?

It will be a journey for sure. The current garage needs help and to do that I need to build a small shed out back. Long term (2-3) years I plan on building a detached garage for boat and toys.
