Amazon Deals on New Retail Items - Post them!

+1 Seems like that little switch adds complexity (thus risk of breakage) and conceivably gets in the way.

    80s Ford 16mm Safety Reel

I remember a big push on getting folks to buckle up back in the early 80's at our Ford plant. We even had the guards at the vehicle gate doing surveys of seat belt usage. I probably saw this film back then

High torque electric impact that won't break the bank?

For a couple times a year and on mounted tires a breaker bar makes more sense. Particularly if the lug nuts in question weren't run down excessively by some other fool with a power toy.

Harry J Epstein Day / Wright Tool Meet-Up

As of now 8/14 would be a good day to drive down. As far as PSE, I would assume most plants today require safety glasses, we used to keep them on hand for visitors' use. Safety shoes are a bit harder to police, but I'd not show up for any plant tour in either flip flops or open toed shoes. Up...

    Weedeater line

I have used the afore-mentioned Black Diamond on the old Stihl gasser (same model as the OPs) - the line was never the problem, the loading was a PITA. I am trying a battery EGO trimmer now, it has some sort of auto-feeding device that on the first try worked great. It takes pre-cut line, but...

Pistol grip pliers for thoughts. Yes or no?

I saw some here some time ago - looked like I needed them, but I failed to come up with a task that would make them worth buying. Figured when a need presented itself I would go get some which never happened,

After the discussion in the thread about adjustable wrench, I realized I needed a small one for the console in the vehicle ..

    Need a good Adjustable Wrench.

The Bahcos come in a couple sizes, including a 6" version. The Bahco examples I have seen are missing the "slop" I found in "crescent wrenches" that I have had the misfortune to use in the past.

Any Baratza Coffee Grinder Owners Here???

I've had an Encore for longer than I can remember, so I don't owe it anything. If this one croaks I'll likely just search around for the best price, then buy another .. I use the same grind size for pour over (normal) or Sunday special percolator coffee

Harry J Epstein Day / Wright Tool Meet-Up

I would love to go on a factory tour - but its very date dependent, so cannot commit until a date is picked. About 200 miles for me,

I ordered them a while back The examples I received were both badly misaligned at the tips and I didn't find any redeeming qualities so back they went

    1/4 drive 5/8” 6 point deep socket

The Snap-on (even sans shipping charges) costs more than a whole set of Olsa sockets ... Guess I need to decide how much that unfilled hole is worth ... or switch to a different organizer

    1/4 drive 5/8” 6 point deep socket

I've spent too much time trying for find a 1/4" drive deep hand (not impact, as they are too fat to fit) socket to fill a lonely hole on an OLSA socket organizer - but a 5/8 is within the rule I read somewhere that the max at any drive size is 2 1/2 to 3 times the drive/anvil size, if that bit...

Not even sure why I checked - I'd like to think some subconscious eye picked it out - when I called them they promised to have the missing socket on the way today -
