    Titanium 1/4" Drive Ratchet 2.0

Funny you mention that - we looked into some exotic ceramic based alloys for certain parts. Gives absolutely insane hardness to a normally soft metals and the stiffness to weight ratio is off the charts. Only problem is, the ceramic makes it brittle - for tools, we need the toughness in most...

    Titanium 1/4" Drive Ratchet 2.0

Andy, if you buy anymore, we're going to have to give you an honorary % of the company! Thanks for the new orders, it's very much appreciated. There are a few guys collecting colors on these things I think... It's a tough one - the 1/2" drive is where the weight reduction truly shines, but 3/8"...

    Titanium 1/4" Drive Ratchet 2.0

There're visions of that exact set but turning it into reality is tougher than expected - We have working prototypes of the 3/8" & 1/2" drive ratchets but no capacity or enough personnel yet... 1/4" drive requires way less time and materials and even that has been nuts to keep up with!

    Titanium 1/4" Drive Ratchet 2.0

Gauging interest on the 1/2" drive now and shopping for some tool tester to demo it. No ratchet this size has any business handling like it does.... Impact resistance is definitely not the strong suit of Carbon Fiber....In testing, the teeth do become deformed if dropped directly from chest...

    Titanium 1/4" Drive Ratchet 2.0

You're on it dude! You must've posted this almost right after we listed the new stuff... We have a few new options up and a new quick spinner available with a Titanium or Carbon Fiber disc. This is after 7 days in sea water and then immersed in acid - it's basically corrosion proof. We...

    Dipping Ratchets in Oil

On our latest run of ratchets, we polished the gear bearing journals and the teeth (very lightly). You'd have to tune the process and media if you wanted to ISF (Isotropic Super Finish AKA tumbling) your ratchet gears without removing too much material or removing material inconsistenly. We DLC...

    Show your new tool arrivals

This is taking COO to a new level - you're looking for LOO "location of operations"? There's a number of great reasons not to list your address as a very small scale manufacturer. We have an awful lot of curious people come by as it is already! Also, we don't have any kind of real security like...

    Titanium 1/4" Drive Ratchet 2.0

That's a next level review. Thanks a lot for taking the time to make a video about the tool set. That's huge for us as a small time manufacturer - it's much appreciated. If I had something extra to give away I would! We do have something special lined up soon, maybe I'll shoot one your way as a...

Fireball Tool Hardtail Vise - The Best Vise On The Market???

This is also why they're so well made - they're an heirloom quality vise. Of course, most of the market doesn't need/want to pay for that level of tool. Fireball is giving the opportunity to own something that Jason made to his personal standards. I like that he's giving it a shot and not...

1/2" to 1/4" Square Adapter Socket

I went to buy this a few days ago actually - the $25 shipping made me skip it. If I can get one ordered on a truck, I think the square (no steps or transitions) will be the best design for strength. Let's just say it's quite a bit more than any of the adapters lol. Work arounds were found, but...

1/2" to 1/4" Square Adapter Socket

It would - but most tools follow the standard (ISO/DIN) which for 1/4" drive tools is a 0.5 mm corner radius... The Stahlwille was strong enough to destructively test a few normal Cr-V tools. But the stronger alloy tools were a no-go. For normal use they're actually pretty strong!

1/2" to 1/4" Square Adapter Socket

For historical sake, here's the results from torque testing with 3/8" to 1/4" square adapters. On the lower end, they break at 60-65 ft-lbs and the Hazet was a beast at 77.3 ft-lbs (104.8 Nm). The boneyard of adapters:

Another vote for the KTC Profits - they're very well made and feel great to use.

1/2" to 1/4" Square Adapter Socket

Lol. I don't think many guys would need one of those... Where were you yesterday! The holy grail of adapter sockets: https://apexbits.com/ex-260-b-apex-1-2-square-drive-adapter.aspx Looks like it would be a group buy anyway since they only sell them in 12 at a time? They probably know...
