Tough crowd. I wouldn't pour until you are comfortable with the process and materials. Who cares if its weeks from now or from another contractor. Once its poured it's a cluster if anything is wrong. The tone of some of the responses makes me hesitate to ever ask a question on this forum.

Cat6 is probably safer future proofing at this point, but keep in mind terminating Cat6 is quite a bit more difficult than Cat5. If you're doing punch downs it doesn't really matter, but crimping is a pain on Cat6.
