Larry, I am ready to find a motor. As you have written I need a 1 HP 1725. I can power 110, 220 Single and 3 phase options in my shop. As I look around I see induction and synchronous motors. This drill press will get very little use. What would you recommend? Thanks.
Thank you Larry. That is the drill press and as you can see it requires 300rpm at the drive pulley. I am posting a pic of the current configuration which has a 3500 rpm motor with a 3" pulley going to a 16" pulley. I believe this motor is shot and i would like to find out what I actually need...
Hello folks, I am restoring a Champion #21 Camel back with auto feed. I found an original spec page form an old tool catalogue and it calls for a 1 HP motor but no details about rpm. I am assuming 1725? Does this sound right to you guys?
