i would personally go with either rheem or ruud.very quiet,why are you so set on 13 seer?its only your garage and an apartment.for the price your paying for 13 seer you wont see your savings for over 10 years,ask your electric company if they have any rebates for installing 13 seer units 1 1/2...

hjv11 you should be able to get a 110 volt motor to fit in there from the pics can you adjust that motor to run on 110 it looks like it has extra wiring with it?grainger sells alot of different motors.just make sure the shaft diameter and the frame size is the same you might be able to get one...

i just thought i would add my 2 cents here if you use the 2 barrel kit and instead of using the top barrel as the flue pipe get some flue pipe and put it inside to create a seperate chamber to keep the carbon dioxide out you could use an old blower motor to blow air over the single walled flue...
