    What kind of tap is this?

    That's a new one on me too and selling taps is what I do all day long. Picture isn't clear enough but I'm sure it isn't a standard DIN or ISO tap, which would lead me to think it has been designed for a very specific machining process. Is there anything marked or stamped on the shank at all?

    What did you do "IN" your garage today?

    I get around thirty minutes in my garage a day (my lunch time release from work), so I never get to do a lot but as they say, every little helps. Current project is to finish the solar power system, so got to wire in the lighting on the last bay and clear up the mess that I had made in the process.
