    Jigsaw blades made specifically for Hardi are available. It won’t wear out for one use. Don’t risk life and limb with a large hole saw , they are dangerous with two feet on the ground never mind up on a ladder.

    What’s with the fascination with screws ? Has Holmes on homes influenced the entire world?Non structural screws are pathetically weak with any shear force. You have a nail gun - use it -its way faster and your not spending the cash on structural screws.

    I had grief with them also. They hammered away on my cedar gable vents until there was a big enough hole that starlings moved in. I hung Mylar tape from the soffit and so far so good ( after repairs )

    Buy a spinner and clean them thoroughly with thinner or soap and water , brush them out with a wire brush after. ( spin them out in a bucket or garbage can) I keep brushes for years this way
