    Magnetic Drill Recommendations?

    I picked up a old Bux with a B+D drill motor at the swap meet. Had to fix the magnet (wrap the coil and insulate). Has a regular 3/4" chuck and a roto-broach adapter. Nice to be able to use both. Paid $20. It's old, HEAVY, and ugly but it works. If I used it every day then I'd spend the money...

    I'd use screw jacks and 4x4 posts under the ridge about 6 or 8 foot on center and your cable idea. Start in the center.     Circular Saw - Replace my Skil HD77

    I'm an old west coast framer. 77 is the only saw to have period. Needed a trigger last time I was in Georgia and when I asked, they looked at me and said "a what?". So parts could be a problem on the east coast. You sure it doesn't need brushes or trigger?
