Above 1200 Sq/FT building my BIG PARTY garage

I just spent the last hour going thru this entire thread, way past my bedtime, but it was worth it. All I can say is AMAZING!! I love it all, if I'm ever in your neck of the woods, I will have to stop by, with snacks and cold Shiner Bock beer of course.

Cleaning paint off of quikrete epoxy floor

I've been trying to get a few scuff marks off my epoxy floor and didn't want to FUBAR it in the process, as usual the GJ comes through with a ton of good ideas, mostly that have been tried and have seen good results. Simple Green will be attempted. I'll re-post with the results.

Planning Epoxy Project for New Garage

Sounds like a good plan, I did my floor over the Memorial day weekend, 2012. Started Sat A.M. removing everything off the floor, scraped and rinsed it all out, followed the directions and the DVD video that came with the product (I used the Quikcrete from LOWES) and by Monday afternoon I was...

    new epoxy floor (pics)

Nice job, I did mine over the Memorial day weekend 2012 and it still looks just as good as the day it was finished. I love it and get a lot of "damn I'm jealous" comments.

My Epoxy-Coat floor one year later

Your floor looks great. I'm also coming up on a year since I epoxed my garage floor and it still looks great as well, very pleased with the way it turned it out and how easy it is to keep clean.

Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT I'd love to have a shop that looked like this.

Man-o-man Roger, truly a work of art generated by an excellent idea and many a blood, sweat and tears. Enjoy your fantastic Shop/garage,.... I know you are.

    A new work bench thread!!!

I built this a while back, 2x4 frame with 3/4" plywood. 2x4 legs and 1x6 facia boards raised up a 1/2" to prevent the small stuff from rolling off and onto the ground, ending up under something that has to be moved to fetch it up.

    What's your workbench look like?

I made this a few weeks ago. 8'x30" Lean to off the wall for ease of front access. I used 1x6s for the "facia" so I could raise it up a 1/2" from the bench, that way the small items like screws and sockets etc.... don't make it the floor and up under neath something.

    Out of sight storage.

Hey Jack, thanks for the advice, I have made many a gate and cabinet door before and I usually do the braces like you mentioned, but for such narrow doors, I thought I would break up the norm. Piggyback on the Innkeeper, great info as always. stay tuned. Howdy Mattlt, I did this on the...
