1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Re: 1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap & 1966 427 Project How could you resist? That would buy at least a quart of paint for your next project!

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Re: 1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap & 1966 427 Project With AZ minimum wage at 11/hr that puts into perspective how much it really takes to restore something of this caliber. A fair wage for your work is probably closer to $50+/hr so re-affirms how underpaid you are. I enjoy your updates...

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Re: 1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap & 1966 427 Project Do you have to prep the aluminum for paint differently than steel?

My guess is owner filed for a lost/duplicate title as he was stalling you for time. It doesn't sound beyond them to fabricate a story and make your life hell trying to prove you're in the right.

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Re: 1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap & 1966 427 Project Ah yes, probably a good area of the country for sourcing that stuff cheap! Nice PW too. I used to work at a tractor dealership with a similar model. It was amazing how much the hot water helped with removing oil and grease from equipment...

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Re: 1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap & 1966 427 Project Envious of how well your cars age. Anything more than a decade or two old tends to rust to pieces around here. You're making me tired too just talking about your projects! I think most people would be thrilled to have completed just one...

    30 x 40 Garage build

Very nice. I just re-read your entire thread and am re-inspired to get started on my project that has gotten pushed down the ever growing list of priorities. How is the stone holding up? I really like the combination of stone, metal, and cedar.

    Does such a tool exist?

Never saw one of those before. Looks like a strong contender. Thanks!

    Does such a tool exist?

    Does such a tool exist?

I've actually been impressed with the quality and design of the machine. Maintenance wasn't first priority in the design, but I've worked on way worse and this stays way cleaner.. Every part on it is beautifully machined and precision ground. It has 4 heads with 15 needles each and probably...
