Exterior Recessed Box for PBR or Metal Building
I just installed exterior boxes and fasten then to the wall grits drill hole in center of box and in the the girt for the wire Strong that way and caulk the back of box to keep water out

I rip 2x6 in half to do my shop was cheaper then buying 2x4 then covered all with osb
