I've never heard of a Stanley Safety saw. It looks almost exactly like a Skil Model 77 except for that second trigger. Anyone have any info?

Just stopped into Sears today to burn a gift card. Found an Estwing hatchet on clearance for $20.97, it rang up at $11.00. Salesgirl said 50% off on all clearance items. WTF! I'd almost pay that much for an old one at a yard sale! They're $35 at Home Depot.
Wasn't sure if I should have dusted off the old British tool thread or start my own. If it needs moved, so be it. In the meantime, I have a thing for the small hex-socket sets. I've got a couple of complete Indestros and many loose sockets. Came across this at an estate sale and couldn't...
Picked up this Midget set from an online auction. All the dates are '47 except for the handle and it's '57. Missing a few sockets, gives me something to look for!
It looks almost brand new! Except for the flex and flat blade, and those are marked non-replaceable.
Online auction find. Couldn't see any branding from the posted photos, but with the vintage style I didn't want to pass them up. Ended up winning the auction for $11.25. Picked them up last night after work and this is what I got.
A box of mostly vintage Herbrand, prolly from the 40's.

Wife wanted to look for a patio umbrella at Menard's, which she didn't find, but on the way out I stopped by the clearance rack. Channel Lock GS-1, set of the 9.5" and 6.5" straight jaw T&G pliers were marked at $24.99. Needed another B-day gift for my son so I picked them up. Rang up at...
That's why my limit is $20! And in 25 years my wife will probably be selling them for the same. ;) I love that 50's styling and how well they're made. I like to take them apart, give a good cleaning and maybe replace the cords. I would like to use them on occasion just for the fun of it...
Found another one. This time off CL.
Box is in great shape!
This one's a 1/4" chuck. Very small drill, I could only use 3 fingers on the grip. Love the 'hand warmer' holes. It's missing a stand to use the drill as a stationary buffer or grinder. Still has the polishing mandrel.
Close...
Here's something I don't think I've seen before. Selling tools for $2/lb. Providing you can find quality USA stuff, and you're not buying a 20lb. sledge, how good of a deal would you be getting? Looks like an indoor flea market in Niles, Ohio.

Only score for the weekend. 1/4" Indestro Super set, only missing a couple of sockets. Have to put those on my 'wish' list. The driver handle looks like it was a dog toy, or someone used vise grips on it for extra leverage!
The ratchet handle is flat between the head and knurling, never seen...
