Post a picture of your ratchets!!

Gearwrench, Armstrong, HF, Snap On, and a Huskey breaker bar. I really like the slim profile dual 1/4"-3/8" HF flex-head ratchet/wrench combo tool. It costs more than their ratchets but has a solid build. Now I've even seen mini versions of them on the shelves. Not pictured is the CMan raised...

    Overpriced ****

When I was trying to piece together a complete Hansen socket tray organizer, Westward was the only brand I found that made a 1/4" drive 5/8 deep socket. I ordered it through Zoro on eBay. I would say fit & finish is comparable to Craftsman quality. Nothing special - and definitely not $350 special.

HILTI THREAD - Lets see what ya got

I know Hilti tools are premium because that's what the jewel thieves used in the London bank vault heist - Hiliti DD350

    Ratchet and socket accessory storage/organization

I've always liked the idea of lining all the "complete" drawers in my box with thick foam, and then cutting out the outline of the tools to keep them organized. http://www.pdsupply.co.uk/standard-products/foam-cut-outs-for-tidy-tool-location/

Finally got around to finding all my ratchets and taking a group photo

^^ I see one of those HF dual ratchets with 1/4" and 3/8" on opposite ends - great tool!

    Unused stainless steel plate

I plan to supplement the air mixture going into the motor with the gas produced from the HHO cell, not run my car off it. There is a a video on YouTube of a guy running a generator on pure HHO gas, and the HHO generator was powered from the same generator. Free energy??

Most common socket & wrench sizes for portable box?

I bought a craftsman socket set and threw all the duplicates into my car bag. Like others have said, 10-17 +19mm deep and 3/8" to 3/4" generally cover most car needs. I also keep a pair of wire strippers, multimeter, pliers, an adjustable wrench, zip ties (lots of zip ties!), jumper cables...

    Armstrong 12-972 Dis-assembly

This precision screwdriver set will have all the bits you need. I've used it for disassembling ratchets, cell phones, led fixtures and more. The bits are made from CR-V and are cut pretty well. I have numerous different precision driver sets and for the money - this set is the most complete...

    Unused stainless steel plate

Would these be 316L SS by chance? Perfect size for my HHO generator dry cell build. I just got the 1/2" acrylic sheets in last week. Yesterday I was at a boat yard (helping a friend fix the motor on her sailboat) and was able to source a ton of 1/8" viton rubber gasket material. With the drill...

3/8 drive head in 1/4 ratchet body

Has anybody converted a Snap On TM830 1/4" ratchet to 3/8" drive successfully?

    The VISES of Garage Journal

This is my harbor freight special. I got it for a great deal. As you all probably know HF quality is hit or miss. I was in need of a small vice and after searching through all of the boxes and inspecting the 4" vices I wasn't happy that their new part number shipment on the shelf didn't match...

    info on drill bits

I like my dewalt kit. I've used the bits in wood, metal and concrete. The 1/2 is pretty burnt from excessive RPM drilling into a Volkswagen cylinder head, but if you only use the bits in wood they will last a long time. I think the kit was around $25, not bad considering a single 1/2" but is...

    Impact socket sets/brands

Impact sockets are supposed to be made from CR-MO, which is ductile metal. CR-V is stronger yet brittle and could potentially crack under the high load an impact type driver puts through the socket. I've been researching impacts and I like the Sunex, GP and HF sockets. I also saw good review...
