If I remember correctly, the original plastic SOMA puzzle was made from six very thin square slices, mitred on all sides and glued together. The fit was high precision and the puzzle was perfect in every configuration. I'm guessing it was Made in Japan. 🟥🟥🟥

Azalea wood is very strong. I made a tool out of a azalea twig for the kitchen. We use it to push and pull the oven racks, even with a pizza stone on it or large pyrex dish full of lasagna.
