Which brand to start a cordless tool set?

The Ryobi is ideal for your situation, but if you want tools that you can work hard on a daily basis rather go for Makita or Milwaukee.

Need a new water pump for Generac pressure washer

Looks like that specific pump is $210 on ereplacementparts.com. I would spend a few dollars more and buy a new pressure washer. Then you have a warranty at least.

    Most innovative tools?

The SawStop table saw is in my opinion the most innovative power tool in the last couple of years. The safety features are out of this world. I recently watched the "sausage demonstration" video from the guys at SawStop. It is amazing how quickly the saw reacts to detecting flesh, it barely...

    Makita vs Milwaukee

Makita and Milwaukee both produce top quality drills. Lots of professionals choose Milwaukee for the power whereas lots of DIYers prefer Makita because of the lower price and light weight. If you research reviews you will see that...

    Cordless Drills

I agree with previous posts that Nicad is a dying breed, so focus your search on LiIon models. Makita, Milwaukee, Hitachi and Dewalt are the brands that are getting the best feedback in consumer reviews at the moment. Porter Cable...
