    Fastenal and Danhar Tool

I had to play phone tag with the local Fastenal store for a good week or 2 to see if they can warranty acouple Armstrong tools that were not purchased through them. After calling Danhar about the situation, they said they CAN warranty them, but they must be sent to the factory, reviewed and then...

Picked up a shop truck for the "Truck Shop"

I've done the s10 frame swap, you'll like the ease of it, especially if you're skilled enough to make the mounts yourself. I dont really think a 4.3 is that great of a source for a driver. All steel truck with a little ole 160 base hp TB motor. That's solely my opinion, I have a 1991 s10 with a...

    Good mig welder?

Hobart is Miller.. its Millers 'cheaper line' by price, not quality. I have a handler 187 myself, along with a huge *** miller 300 arc with external wire feed. you'll be fine with a handler 187 or a millermatic 185, the lincoln 175 is fine and dandy, i just think the hobart and millers weld better

Anyone own tool cart that useful to work on automotive or hobby?

I have this cart, well the company supplied it to me. Thankfully I dont work in an environment where I have to lock my tools up every night. Everyone knows what they own and what they dont own.

    Lets talk chop saws

Re: Quality The problem is you're prob using a dewalt or other lowes type of blade and for thicker stuff, it just doesnt cut that fast. I do metal fab all the time, bodydrops (hot rodders call em channels), 4 link setups, etc. so i use it on anything from .125 to .250. My saw did smoke and...

I have a set of blue point combination ratchet wrenches.. i love em. I was at Sears the other day and looked at the Craftsman box end ratcheting wrenches and man, they were cheesy as hell. they werent smooth, they rattled, they looked like the old school MAC double box ratcheting wrenches...

Looks like MAC Air tools do come in Clamshells

we have a huge pile of dead IR air tools at work and the central pnuematics they bought (our job is based on a budget with the supervisor getting a kick back as to what is left, so he's the cheapest dude you'll ever meet) and the centrals have worked twice as long as the IR's.. i think its a...

Small business ( would you call this company )

Personally my only problem with your site and standing from someone who tinkers in web work is acouple of things. first off is using the free host by godaddy.. it basically makes someone think if you cant spend what small hosting is now a days at 4-6 dollars a month, then how good is your...
