    Shelf Life of a Compressor

I have heard that the thickest part of steel is the bulbous ends . I don't remember where I have read it or heard it. But my question is, if these are the strongest part of the compressor would it not make sense that these ends would not rust through or crack as fast as the cylindrical part...

Wow, all these butterflies in my stomach!!! Now I remember why I stayed away for so long. Seeing all these Milwaukee tools I am getting the urge to go shopping tomorrow. FOR MILWAUKEE TOOLS!!! lmfao.

    Tapcon screw problems

In my experience I have used Tapcon on a jobsite and installed like 100 tapcon with 10 percent either breaking or not grabbing properly or not being to drive all the way. So when I went to buy another box of "Tapcon" I discovered Cobra Fasteners a darker bleu than tapcon. So I tried it and I...

Beat myself up trying to save a buck and now I feel stupid!

Same here, one time I had to change washers on faucets in the washroom bath. So usually all you have to do is hit the side of the handle gently one side then the other and pry slowly with a screwdriver behind the handle. But this July day, a scorching July day, the handle would not budge all...

Who pays when an unmarked buried cable is cut?

Is this because there are not enough competitors that offer same service therefore that single contractor charges a hefty price? Or am I missing another factor that influences price?

Who pays when an unmarked buried cable is cut?

Maybe the Contractors should change the way they dig instead of the B F Excavator maybe they Should use a system using compressed air to break up the ground and a giant vac, to evacuate. I believe it will solve the problem of marking and many other problems. Such as getting big equipment in a...

Poor craftsmanship- do you say something?

In my opinion it depends on the friend. If he is one to take constructive criticism I would tell him. But if he is the type to start a job today and getter done for yesterday, I would shut my mouth and find an excuse not to help any longer. I know myself and sooner or later I will get to a...

    Ingenious Idea!

So as not to get so much purple cleaner on the tube can't you squeeze some of the cleaner on the inside of the rim before applying to the plastic. I do this with the ABS solvent all the time, if it is dry and more solvent is needed I just re-apply, always making sure that it looks clean and not...

    Reciprocating Saw and PVC Pipe

Hi Eric29. The tool you are referring to which holds the portaband is still advertised but it is outrageously expensive. There are cheaper alternatives, which I can't find in my pics now that I need them. but will post as soon as I find them.
