I inadvertantly left my Tekton 24330 click type torque wrench sitting in the drawer all wound up to 75 ft-lbs. It's a pretty new wrench. On the handle it says to store at 10 ft-lbs. I'm hoping I did not mess up the calibration.
Does anybody have an idea if I have caused some internal damage...
Found my solution, at least for the time being.
My great grandfather's old pipe wrench is getting put back to use. I can't say I have ever used this wrench. I have held on to it for 40 or 50 years since my great-grandfather passed and my grandfather passed. I inherited any of their tools...

The lift I have is pretty cool. It helps me spin a bike around inside the garage. However, it's a little short and on my heavier kawasaki it takes a lot of heft to tilt it up and at the...
Finally moved Gaylord from the old garage into the new shop.
My great-grandfather used to take these fishing trips to Florida. Come home with big sailfish like this. This is old school taxidermy, not the b******* they do nowadays. There were two of them after he passed 50-60 years ago. I was...
They only holding on some vent hoses on a bank of carbs for a Kawi ZRX. The trick is getting any kind of tool in there to open them enough to slip over the spiggot. I like idea of switching them out.
There's got to be a special pair of pliers just for these kind of wire hose clamps. They are all over my motorcycle and for years I've been wrestling with using regular pliers and a crazy twist action to open it up all the way. And then it only works 20% of the time. There's got to be a better way.
