    Thought I'd update. Yes, the clear coat did hide the small scratches. However it doesn't protect the epoxy any better than just the epoxy itself from scratching. OH the horror seeing how easily the floor scratches after spending so much time and money to achieve this soon fleeting shiny...

    I had the same problem with cat urine in basement. I used bleach, baking soda, pine sol. They helped to some degree but not nearly enough. Finally i sealed the cracks using an epoxy patching compound. This helped considerably since the urine presumably was in the cracks. Finally i used 3 coats...

    Good info re Epoxy Master

    Oh No! Say it aint so. I just epoxied a labour intensive garage with epoxymaster. I noticed the black squares showing scratches as i gently vacuumed the dust in preparation for next steps. I did apply the clear coat after buffing. I hope this goes far to help eliminate disfigurement :willy_nil
