Help me plan / properly execute my garage overhaul :-)

Yeah, Baltimore County has some areas that border the Chesapeake Bay, so that's probably why that section is in there. Needless to say, it doesn't really apply to Owings Mills. ;)

Help me plan / properly execute my garage overhaul :-)

Where did you find this? I was considering building a 24x40 in my backyard, and I didn't see any such restriction on any of the Baltimore County web sites...

    Marking parking positions

Painter's tape. For me, with my car on the left side of the garage, one piece on the wall to roughly align me, the other piece on the ground next to the driver's door. Pull in while looking to the left and with my back firmly against the seat until the painter's tape on the wall is aligned...

    Uneven garage threshold

I'm more worried about the structural integrity of the concrete. I don't want to develop cracks. I am fine with it looking different, as I have some plastic sheet type surface above it to aid in cleaning and draining. I'm also guessing the amount of work to grind the floor down is less than...

    Uneven garage threshold

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

Agreed. Bought mine in 2006. Used the hell out of it until 2012, when I got a 30-gallon compressor and HF Earthquake 1/2" air impact. Honestly, the HF electric impact worked better in a lot of cases. I got a few of the new 18V tools recently: Impact driver: PASS but the combo...

    Uneven garage threshold

Most of my garage is completely level. However, I have one section, right around the middle of the threshold, where the concrete is higher than the rest of the garage by about 0.5-1". There are no cracks, but as a result, the garage door does not seal at the bottom, and snowmelt and rainwater...
