Handy Andy Fold Down Tool Workbench

Hey, neat find! Unfortunately, rare does not always equate to value here. I get pinged about one of these looking for value once every couple of years. It's worth what someone will pay for it. But many petite have a use for such a small bench, but I find it to be b handy, no pun intended, for...

Looking for a nice screw driver set

I'm also on the Vessel train. I have a number of screwdriver sets and these have quickly become my favorite. They bite into Phillips screws better than anything else I've ever owned.

Handy Andy Fold Down Tool Workbench

We're back from the dead! I'd been entertaining resurecting this thread. I actually spotted another one recently on Craigslist elsewhere in the country. I actually have one tiny bit of information on it now that I didn't back when I picked it up. I was cleaning it up again recently and spotted...

What brand power tools do the pros use in your area?

I used to do construction work (primarily carpentry) for a small outfit in the St. Louis area and we used Dewalt.

New to Me Cman Heritage Roller

I was just about to say, "hey, I know someone who just picked up one of those," and then I saw "Twigger" and who posted. I need to see this box in person sometime and we can hunt for my grey and red Craftsman top box.

What 1/4" impact/drill do you use

I also have the 12v Craftsman Nextec impact. It's handled everything I've thrown at it, but it's mostly been light work (drywall, some framing, etc). I'm pretty happy with it and I even bought it used. Small, fairly lightweight. I really can't complain.

Should I buy a small vice?

We all pay for our vices someday... But a small vise is totally worth investing in.

Why is Snap-On going overseas? I thought it was just Blue Point

Re: Why is Snap-On is going overseas? I thought it was just Blue Point I imagine they are still as good, if not better, than what we have being made here. That said, I hate to see this too because I really like to support American manufacturing and jobs. At least it's not China.

Fill up a tool box for $50. Go.

Re: Fill up a too box for $50. Go. My vote is for the 125 piece Kobalt kit 1Garageman posted. I think he just won this thread. I don't think you'll get much better than that without banking on flea market/pawn shop scores or buying really poor quality tools. I have a friend who uses primarily...
