Heck yea. I was going to buy a hand held band saw but decided it would be too difficult to cut 45 degree angles accurately with it, not that I cut any for the table anyway. Then was going to purchace a chop saw but hesitated and the sale was over so I decided there wasn't much difference...
Looks good. Post some pics when you get the casters set up. I am building mine now and used a 2 1/2-2" hitch adapter for my vice mount. The 2 inch square tube slides right in without modification.
