mine is an old boom box style stereo from the 90's (black plastic)
I mounted it upside down to the exposed trusses. i can just reach the volume. It's plugged into a switched outlet, so it comes on when the lights do.
nice,
I had more than one set of tires so I had to build one floor to ceiling. All i used is 2x4's and deck screws.
This isn't even all the tires, I have 3 other sets in more permanent storage in the shed.
we had Anna's hummingbirds stay over winter. had to keep thawing the feeders (kept two on rotation into the house) even had to put a trouble light on it to stay warm on the coldest days.
never had them in the garage though.
also, i just noticed the Rufous Hummingbirds have just returned
my bench is only 6 ft long so I wanted the vice to be removable if there was a larger project. the table also butts up to the tool box, so mounting on a corner was a no-go.
i tapped the side of the receiver for a "Set screw" bolt for slop.
mine is mounted horizontal, as it allows you to rotate...
took me a sec to realize these are LED.
why get LED retrofit bulbs for fluroecent housings when you can just get dedicated LED lights like these?

is it to hardwire them?
