Is it possible to quiet a 30" shop fan?

I just installed a 30" oscillating wall mount fan in my garage and it sounds like a Blackhawk landing even on low. I was thinking there might be a way/s to reduce the noise output ie. removing the front fan basket (it sits 8ft high on the wall) and putting a piece of carpet behind the wall to...

Is there a wood-look Racedeck type product?

Thanks Mike I have considered it but the install time is what kills it for me. I cant imagine tiling 1200 sq/ft. And paying someone would make it unfeasible for me. Im at a max of $3.50/sq/ft I'm comfortable paying.

Is there a wood-look Racedeck type product?

That either currently exists or perhaps in the pipeline? Ive pretty much committed to an exoxy/polyaspartic floor being done in June but my dreamfloor would be something that I could install in a day that looked like wood that was purposefully developed for a garage environment. Thanks

    Attaching metal top to workbench

I used 1/8" x 1/2" wide angle aluminum and countersunk the screws as described above. I used a drill bit slightly larger than the head of the screw to create the countersunk holes. Light pressure and go slow to get the depth correct.

Working with a local company to epoxy my floor-any pro tips to negotiate lower price?

Thanks Justin -- no primer Initially the quote was for 2 coats of Rex Thane but he reduced the price and is only doing 1 coat of Rex Thane. He told me his previous installs have not had problems and was confident the clean and etch was sufficient fwiw.
