I actually didn't end up with a quincy. I had been looking at them online and at the local northern tool. Not sure the model numbers but I remember the choice basically being between the quieter and smaller quincy (5hp 2 stage 60gal) or the HF (7.5hp, 2 stage, 80 gal) for roughly the same money...

If noise is an issue for you I would probably spend the extra for a quincy unit. The belaire/hf units are good compressors but they all come with a noisy 3400rpm motor. When I was looking the quincy came with a quieter motor and the compressor had a slightly higher cfm rating.
