@Steve_P do you mean the ratchet head internals or the locking mechanism?

The G2 ratchets dare I say are the best of both worlds. Snap-On Dual 80 style mechanism and Matco locking mechanism.

Are the CAT flare nut wrenches as tight on tolerance as the Snap-On? I’m not sure the finish would bother me if they perform as well as the Snap-On equivalent.

Icon G2 1/4” and 3/8” locking flex head ratchets. Very pleased with how these hold up to daily professional use.

The slideshow view is a PITA. SBD really screwed the pooch with everything Craftsman sadly. Had the Fort Worth plant actually been successful they had the opportunity to make USA made hand tools at a reasonable price and could have positioned the line against all the other Prosumer grade stuff...

Does anybody know which Snap-On equivalent pliers are currently in the 3 piece set? Also are the 10-piece combo wrench sets Flank Drive?
