Symmetric or Asymmetric 2 Post for Trucks

I use an older 96/97 Rotary SPOA9 to lift my Extended Cab short box Duramax @7600#. I do put a jack under the hitch if I'm yanking on long breaker bars for added insurance. It feels pretty stable on the lift. As others mentioned, I do like the fact that I can kick both arms back. I park my...

    How many garage doors?

I have 3 12X12 rollups on a 40X32X16H building. 2 on the front and one in the rear. I back a boat with a T-Top all the way through and wash it on a pad in the rear behind the building and fence. When dry, I pull it back into the building. The other bay stores my car and has a lift with a work...

    SnookSniper's Seminole Shanty of Sheninigans

Hi SnookSniper, you must live pretty close to me. The house I grew up in was built in 74 right off 86th Ave. I live on Old Ridge RD and have a car/boat garage behind my house and rental house.

Window height and spacing in a detached garage

I like mine up high, good lighting but not in your eyes. I can open and close as needed but tend to keep them open as we are in Floida. The Eve's are 30 inches so water doesn't blow in during moderate to heavy rain storms. Having them high also allows more storage below. My garage is 40x32 with...

My Build: 30x40 in south florida!

[/ATTACH] They don't rattle to bad, I think the brush seals will solve most of the issues. I don't have any vehicles in the space yet as we are pouring drives next week. Ours has two doors in front and one in the rear to back the boat all the way through for cleaning and motor flush. 72...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I painted and finished building the wall cabinets that will live over my bench area. I built 4, 48x24x24 out of 2x4's,2x2's and 3/4 plywood. The doors are Popler plywood with metallic paint and stainless hardware. I have around $250 in the whole deal and will build full heights that match soon.
