Advantage / Backyard buddy lifts - Talk me in or out of this..

The rumor is the Wildfire guy used to work for Advantage Lifts. That would explain the similarities.

    Where to Install Gun Safe?

Mine is in the corner of my attached garage, bolted (4) to the floor. I chose a left corner of the garage as my safe door is hinged on the right. With the door hinged on the right side there is virtually no room to insert prybars or other tools in an attempt toremove the drro. I also deleted...

    Outdoor Fan for Covered Patio

I bought an outdoor model from Lowes probably 8 or so years ago, the plastic blades have begun to droop, and I live in hot, humid Alabama. I could probably buy replacement blades, but a new fan probably wouldn't cost much more

    4 Post Lift Designs

I have an Advantage DX 9000 XLT that I purchased a little over 2 years ago, they received ALI certification either late 2020 or early 2021. I inquired regarding mine, they said it is the exact same lift that received the certification.

    4 Post Aluminum Ramp Question

These are the ramps provided with my Advantage 9000XLT, 7/32" thick and boxed on the bottom. No issues/flex indicated anywhere after about a year of use. Heaviest vehicle is my Duramax pickup. Advantage may sell these separately.

The old Realistic Minimus 7, probably the best bang for the buck for a small speakers! People couldn't believe they were from Radio Shack. The stereo magazines back in the day rated them highly as well. What, $49 each if I remember correctly?

Jeremy, I live in Huntsville and I'm looking to install a 36k unit in my 30x50 shop/garage. It is pretty much for hobby use, restoring and working on my old cars. I have a spray foamed ceiling that is covered with OSB. It is about 18/19' high to the center of the ceiling, with storage trusses...

First Thoughts/Questions About Mini split systems

I recently completed a 30x50 shop/garage, not used for daily drivers, but hot rods/project cars located in the Huntsville (northern) AL area. There is an 18x8 door on the 30’ gable end facing east, and a 10x8 door centered on the south side 50' wall, both doors themselves are insulated as well as...

    Advantage Lift - adjustable runways

MY 9000XLT is on the wide "setting" and as others mentioned, the drip trays no longer fit. I used small diameter (1/2" I believe) PVC pipe zip tied to the long edges of the trays to support it. They slide incredibly easy. I also considered moving the ramps to the closer position, but have...

Car lift for home garage advice

I have a 4 post lift, the casters are not intended to be permanently mounted, once the lift is where you want it, remove them. When they are "engaged", they only lift my columns maybe 3/4", just enough to allow the lift to be moved around.
